Bear Claw Vineyard

Bear Claw is a 100% female owned Vineyard with a fully functioning Winery on site and is proud to say it produces and bottles its own wine.

After extensively researching the land, it was discovered that this location was prime to grow grapes based not only on geography but based on the rich "alluvial plain soil" this location is blessed with.  At 1832 feet above sea level, with a cool mountain breeze and rich unique soils, it was decided the land was the perfect place to produce the highest quality wine.

To share the beauty of the land with others seeking rest, relaxation, and restoration, the Treehouse Guys from the DIY network came out and built a treehouse on the property. Today, guests continue to revisit the treehouse every year as a nightly rental.

Hillside Orchard Farms

Family owned and operated for 30+ years, three generations currently run the cannery, farm and agritourism operations at Hillside Orchard Farms. They make all of their products in small batches and they pride themselves in helping other farmers find uses for their fruits and vegetable. Hillside products are available for wholesale, private label, co-packer & value added.

The bakery produces 14 different types of fried pies, 5 different cake doughnuts and many types of Fruit Breads and Fritters. They also make homemade fudge and pork skins.

Both the train and hayride wagons run all day long on their routes around the farm, shuttling guests to the apples and animals. They host a free Easter Festival where they hide over 10,000 easter eggs. In the summer months, they have u-pick blackberries for all to enjoy along with a pavilion and playground. In the fall, they offer a corn maze while many colors of apples and pumpkins mark the farm.

Mercier Orchards

Mercier Orchards is a family & veteran-owned and operated apple orchard now in its 4th generation. Started back in 1943 by Bill & Adele Mercier, Mercier Orchards is now celebrating over 75 years of fruitful harvest!

They offer a variety of U-PICK events for their strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and apples, including tractor rides through the mountain-lined countryside.

Their bakery and café are open year-round, serving breakfast and lunch, fried pies, apple doughnuts and more. They also offer ready-to-cook meals prepped on the farm with fresh ingredients. Each meal includes step-by-step instructions for preparing a meal for two people,

Their year-round market offers a variety of delicious fruits and vegetables, jams, jellies, preserves, apple butter, and much more.

Hard Pressed Beverages are available year-round, and they are currently the only apple orchard in Georgia that can say they grow, press, ferment, and bottle their own product.

Panorama Orchards and Farm Market

Panorama Orchards and Farm Market is a family fruit farm established in the 1920’s to produce and market apples.

Over the years, they’ve changed from primarily wholesale to a diversified retail store. Their present facility was constructed in 1983, and contains an apple packing line, cold storage for 10,000 bushels, bakery kitchens, and a retail sales area.

They have available more than 20 varieties of apples, as well as peaches, and fall vegetables. This production, along with a variety of apple related products and baked goods from their own kitchens, is sold direct to the public at their farm market.

They offer homemade fudge, fried pies and ice cream as well as a large selection of breads including apple sauce bread, apple cinnamon bread, and sour dough.
